Stitcher’s “Unladylike” is hosted by authors Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin (formerly of the podcast “Stuff Mom Never Told You”). They’re breaking rules and any unwritten, totally BS expectations on living life. In episodes, the hosts will share research, stories, and unpack burning questions. With just a dose of feminist rage, the hosts are joined by guests each episode for thoughtful conversations on an assortment of topics, pep talks, and more.

Since 2018, “Unladylike” has released over 180 episodes running less than 45 minutes on average. There are plenty of standalone topics to choose from where no topic is too difficult to navigate. Tune in for conversations on ADHD, rock climbing, breast reduction, divas, self-love, class, orgasms, endometriosis, money, and more.

On the podcast’s website, Cristen and Caroline recommend jumping into the series in any order and highlighted some of their favorite episodes.

Some of the hosts’ favorite episodes include “Episode 43: How to Feel Sad” with “Therapy for Black Girls” founder and podcast host Dr. Joy Harden Bradford and Nora McInerny (“Terrible, Thanks For Asking“). They explored sadness as an emotion, why it is seen as weakness, and Dr. Harden Bradford shared tips on sorrow and “recognizing white-girl-tears privilege.”

In “Episode 36: How to Free the Vibrator,” the hosts chatted with Unbound’s Polly Rodriguez, co-founder of the sexual wellness start-up. They talked about the $15 billion sex toy and sextech industries. Polly shared her version of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

Another episode Cristen and Caroline recommend is episode 76. Jane Marie from “The Dream” spoke with “Unladylike” on how women opt into multi-level marketing schemes, or MLMs, and bankrupt themselves in the process. Then, “Scam Goddess” host Laci Mosley talked about fraud.

Cristen and Caroline also recommend “Episode 19: How to Reboot Sexist Robots,” “Episode 40: How to Fall in Love with Herpes,” “Episode 59: How to Wear Too Much Makeup,” “Episode 70: How to Marry Off Maiden Names,” and “Episode 78: How to Unscramble Egg Freezing.”

Comedian Negin Farsad recently joined Cristen and Caroline for an episode all about dating apps and shared advice for making the process better. Her pep talk included tips for upping your game, even if you wind up at the date with someone you realize you hate. Another recent episode investigated “Romance Novel Redemption” with avid reader Nichole Perkins and best-selling queer romance author Casey McQuiston.

Caroline and Cristen co-authored Unladylike: A Field Guide to Smashing the Patriarchy and Claiming Your Space. For new, weekly episodes, tune into “Unladylike” wherever you listen to your favorite shows.
