Marvel Studios, Marvel Entertainment, and Proximity Media present “Wakanda Forever: The Official Black Panther Podcast.” With storytelling, interviews, and more about Black Panther, host Ta-Nehisi Coates will be joined by cast and crew in upcoming episodes.

Stream this series from the very beginning to go behind the scenes of the film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Listeners will be thrilled to hear from National Book Award-winning author of Between the World and Me, journalist, and writer for Marvel Comics’ Black Panther, Ta-Nehisi Coates, in all episodes.

We’ll learn how an “all-star creative team” was formed “against the odds,” what happened after a tragedy, how they celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s legacy, and more.

Guests will include the film’s stars Angela Bassett and Dominique Thorne, President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige, crew members like score/soundtrack composer/producer Ludwig Göransson, production designer Hannah Beachler, director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, co-writer Joe Robert Cole, and producers Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.

The podcast’s first episode shared a conversation with Coates and director/co-writer Ryan Coogler. The two friends and artists explored Black Panther’s cultural impact, the late Chadwick Boseman, and how he continues to inspire the cast and crew. In the second episode, hear about an early version of the script that shared a different story, written when no one knew that Boseman was sick. This episode also discusses the 22-year journey of bringing Black Panther to life

Coates explained, “There is no storyteller I admire more than Ryan Coogler. Any chance to partner with him, Proximity Media and Marvel, is a worthy one. For that opportunity to be a chronicle of the making of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was simply too good to pass up.”

Additional podcast episodes are releasing this month to commemorate the 5-year anniversary of the Black Panther‘s first film. Alongside interviews, each episode will incorporate narrations, Göransson’s score, field recordings, and film clips.
