“50 Dates 50 States” host Matt Wurnig widened his dating pool across America in a podcast series that started as a TikTok channel. On the podcast, “TikTok Bachelor” Matt chooses 1 girl to date in each state and shares their adventures with the world. On episodes, Matt interviews his dates and recaps their time together.

Start the podcast’s 50+ episodes in any order with the average one running less than an hour. If you’re invested in Matt’s whole dating journey, start the series from episode 1. Matt also shares dating advice for listeners.

Matt joined a recent episode of Podsauce to dish on his dating experiences and how the series started during COVID-19. He originally matched with girls on Tinder and went on virtual dates. For the podcast’s second season, Matt created his own vetting process for prospective daters and received over 10,000 applications. Matt shared what he looks for on their profiles and asks applicants to write about their most creative dream date ideas.

Last season, Matt got bucked off a horse with his Montana date, CeCe, and they did a confetti-popping, champagne-spraying photo shoot. In Alaska, Matt and his date Maddelynn slid down a mountain. Matt met Cathryn in Honolulu, Hawaii for Electric Beach snorkeling fun, hanging on a rooftop bar, meeting her friends, and watching the sunset.

This season, some of Matt’s dates are round 2 with his favorite gals from season 1. Matt told Podsauce about some his favorite dates and what he hopes will happen later this season. At the end of the series, one person deemed the “winner” will vacation in Puerto Rico with Matt for 4 nights.

After college, Matt was working for a baseball team and told his parents he planned to quit his full-time job to travel, date women, build his brand, and a following. They were understandably concerned at first, but supported him nonetheless. And he says the whole influencer life has worked well for him so far.

Besides TikTok and the podcast, Matt told Podsauce’s Dax and Alesha about his brand and revenue streams that include sponsorships, merch, TikTok, YouTube, and other business opportunities.

Naturally, we recommend this podcast for Bachelor Nation fans. Tune into “50 Dates 50 States” wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts.
