Only the hottest NBA takes on Audacy’s ‘Heat Check with Trysta Krick’
Audacy is thrilled to present the basketball podcast, “Heat Check with Trysta Krick.” If you’re looking for a podcast exploring NBA drama, predictions, and player updates with humor dribbled in, you’ve come to the right place. Each episode unpacks all things that make the “NBA the world’s greatest sports soap opera,” and Trysta will host interviews throughout the season.
Trysta previously hosted “This League” with Barstool Sports, and is stoked to join Audacy! On “Heat Check,” new episodes are released on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
On a recent episode, Trysta gave a preview of the 2021/2022 Season Eastern Conference. If you’re following sports, you know the Nets were close to going to the finals. The Nets are having a lot of issues! Kyrie Irving is refusing the COVID-19 vaccination, and with NYC’s mandate, you must be vaccinated to play at Barclays Center. While Kyrie is obligated to ride out the contract with his team, he is now in exile from playing. In addition, the Nets had a huge turnover of players and gained some new additions including Patty Mills.
Then, Trysta shared her opinions on the Milwaukee Bucks, who she likes a lot. She talked about Giannis Antetokounmpo “faking” his overextended knee injury.
One of Trysta’s favorite teams on the East is the Atlanta Hawks. Trysta shared her personality as a basketball player would be similar to Trae Young’s. She talked about the Knicks and how she thinks Derrick Rose is going to have a solid season. Trysta loves Philly! She said her previous predictions about the Philadelphia 76ers brought her to Audacy! And she discussed Ben Simmons holding out on the team, and we’re unsure if he’s playing in the opener.
Miami Heat disappointed Trysta because she thought they were going to compete with the Milwaukee Bucks. They were just in the finals 12 months ago, and she said everyone underperformed. Trysta then recapped every player the team lost. And Trysta discussed starting lineups, and she isn’t sold on the Chicago Bulls.
“Heat Check with Trysta Krick” has the hottest NBA takes! Tune in for new, weekly episodes!
