We’re rounding up the best podcasts to listen to if you’re traveling and want some entertainment for the ride. Feel free to buckle up and speed through some episodes! We’ve included a variety of genres ranging from comedy to technology. For these 12 podcasts, some are non-fiction, others are scripted dramas.

These podcasts will keep you company in transit. Many of these shows have a device-downloadable option. So you can stream even when you don’t have connection to the Internet.

The host of “Dr. Death” and “Detective Trapp” Christopher Goffard presents “The Trials of Frank Carson.”

Their celebrity-fueled podcast “LadyGang” is honest and hilarious as the three girls chat with guests like Whitney Cummings, Darren Criss, and past-Bachelorette Tayshia Adams about life, love, and typically sex. If you’re looking for something short and sweet, each Thursday they release a 30 minute “Quickie” episode. Otherwise, on Tuesdays you can expect regular length episodes.

The Atlas Obscura Podcast

Many episodes feature strange and amazing places around the globe. Most episodes are under 20 minutes long. Recent episodes visited The Museum of Broken Relationships, The Danse Macabre, and long-running science experiments. The podcast highlights special guests to tell their stories.

The last few episodes are dedicated to oceans. Host Manoush Zomorodi brings guests on the show such as authors, thinkers, experts, professors, scientists, doctors, and actors. Many episodes are under 60 minutes.

Earlonne is a former inmate. Rahsaan has been in prison since 2000. “Ear Hustle” was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2020.
