‘The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon’ is the official companion listen for die-hard fans and new viewers
Gear up for more dragons, drama, blood, and betrayals with a new show from the Games of Thrones franchise. The Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, premieres on August 21, based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, covering Targaryen history. This family ruled Westeros, and the storyline takes place 200 years before Game of Thrones. “The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon” is a companion listen for die-hard fans and new watchers just tuning in for the new series.
On weekly episodes, hosts Jason Concepcion (Crooked Media’s “X-Ray Vision,” The Ringer’s “Binge Mode”) and Greta Johnsen (WBEZ’s “Nerdette”) go behind the scenes and dive into the show’s creation. They’ll unpack the series, answer fan questions, share opinions, analyze episodes, and interview cast and crew. Stream this new HBO Max podcast from the beginning to dive into the fandom with episodes averaging less than an hour long.
