Happy to be horrified with ‘Morbid: A True Crime Podcast’

Are you a true crime fan with a penchant for spooky stories and comedy, too? “Morbid: A True Crime Podcast” might be the show for you. Hovering at the top of podcast charts since 2018, “Morbid: A True Crime Podcast” has fascinated its wildly-devoted fanbase.

“Morbid” is hosted by autopsy technician Alaina and hairstylist Ash. Fun fact: they’re related and were raised like sisters even though they’re aunt and niece. The hosts co-created the show to share their lifelong adoration of horror and true crime with the world. Ash credits Alaina for influencing her love of the macabre from an early age. 

Weekly episodes cover deeply disturbing stories and true crime cases. Self-described as a “lighthearted nightmare,” the podcast has released over 200 episodes since it began. The episodes unpack murders, celebrity deaths, mysteries, conspiracy theories, paranormal activity, and weird history.

Ash and Alaina will take their podcast on the road for a live experience as they plan to embark on a tour that was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
