Will and Kristin Flanary (aka Dr. Glaucomflecken and Lady Glaucomflecken) know that working in medicine has its perks outside of helping others – it can sometimes be hilarious. With endless lists of ailments and weird things constantly happening, what comes next can get even stranger.

On “Knock Knock, Hi! with the Glaucomfleckens,” the co-hosts are sharing medical stories with friends, nurses, doctors, and celebs who played medical pros on TV. They’re dishing on the most shocking, hilarious, and oddest medical stories in weekly episodes that are equally educational and comedic while shedding light on the healthcare field. The Glaucomfleckens will candidly share their experiences working in medicine and creating content around it. Dr. Glaucomflecken also regularly posts content on YouTube and TikTok.

Gynecologist Dr. Jen Gunter stopped by an episode to talk about why she got into medicine after a skateboarding accident and discussed what similarities an eye and a vagina share. On another episode, dermatologist Dr. Muneeb Shah (@DermDoctor on TikTok) unpacked the power of social media in medicine, bowel movements, and rashes.

Breaking bad news isn’t easy. Oncologist Dr. Don S Dizon joined the show and offered tips to share the worst possible news. In a recent episode, Pulmonologist Dr. Rana Awdish taught the Glaucomfleckens that the scariest part of medicine can sometimes be you. Dr. Awdish, who specializes in critical care, told stories involving fire alarms and severed fingers. She also wrote the book In Shock: My Journey from Death to Recovery and the Redemptive Power of Hope.
