“The Drew Barrymore Show’s” episodes are fun, audio-only versions of Drew’s weekday, TV talk series on CBS. Since mid-September 2021, new episodes are posted daily, interviewing celebrities, hosting guests with stories to share, and discussing her life. Her show’s goal is to establish a positive environment to celebrate life, as she is “creating a movement to march in the army of optimism” through inspiring content.

NBA all-star Carmelo Anthony chatted with Drew

NBA all-star, Olympian, and podcaster Carmelo Anthony chatted with Drew about his memoir, Where Tomorrows Aren’t Promised sharing his struggles and successes. Carmelo explained why he just signed a 1-year contract with the LA Lakers, and why he was basically forced by LeBron James, as they’re both going into their 19th season playing.

In his conversation with Drew, Carmelo shared that his book and this point in his life are times of discovery, perspective, embracing vulnerability, and he also wants to share his origin story. Drew can relate and discussed how she wrote her reflective book through the lens of objectivity. Carmelo also discussed philanthropy, and how important it is for him to give back to the community with The Carmelo Anthony Foundation. Drew surprised Carmelo with special guests, one via Zoom! After Carmelo’s interview, on this same episode, Queer Eye’s Antony Porowski showed Drew around Brooklyn and Ziwe Fumudoh dished on Drew’s News segment.

Carmelo partnered with Audacy’s Cadence13 and Creative 7 for his podcast, “What’s in Your Glass?” where he mixes his love of conversations with wine by interviewing guests.

Billie Eilish loves Drew!

Billie Eilish stopped by “The Drew Barrymore Show” for what Billie considered a surreal interview. They’re mutually huge fans of each other. They discussed Billie’s documentary, Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles and the art of honesty. How when Billie was watching the documentary, she admired how strong-willed, free-spirited, and open-minded she is even as the media tries to tear it away. Billie discussed her experience going from a music fan to being an artist with a fanbase and the adjustments she was blessed to make in her life as her music impacts others. Billie wants her music to help listeners and inspire them to make changes in their lives and situations. Drew is especially a fan of Billie’s “Lost Cause” music video.

Recent episodes of “The Drew Barrymore Show” spoke with Jennifer Aniston about Friends and Adam Sandler. John Stamos talked about his new podcast, “The Grand Scheme: Snatching Sinatra,” and Cameron Diaz appeared for a BFF-themed episode. Drew will often invite special correspondents to interview guests too, such as Josie Geller’s convo with Dear Evan Hansen’s cast.
