Artists and best friends Sasha Spielberg and Alana Haim are dishing on some of the most embarrassing moments from their pre-teen years including Bat Mitzvah themes, first kisses, heartbreaks, and more with special guests on their new podcast, “Free Period.”
The BFFs are taking listeners back to awkward times filled with acne, braces, and when your bar or bat mitzvah theme was your life’s most important decision. Sasha and Alana are sharing how these moments forever shaped their lives. On episodes, they’re joined by guests like Este and Danielle Haim, Jessica Capshaw, Kate Berlant, Rashida Jones, Lady Efron, and Benny Drama.
Sasha Spielberg and Alana Haim said, “We’re best friends who bonded over our super cringy childhood experiences and now, with ‘Free Period,’ we’re excited to share our diary entries and our personal and intimate conversations with the world. We look forward to laughing with our friends, family and guests in reflecting on our most embarrassing and formative years, and we’re thrilled to be on this nostalgic journey with Cadence13.”
Of the project, Chris Corcoran (Chief Content Officer and Founding Partner, Cadence13) said, “We could not be more excited to partner with Sasha and Alana, whose talent, wit, candor, and longtime friendship make “Free Period” relatable and fun.
