‘What’s in Your Glass?’ with NBA’s Carmelo Anthony brings you new guests (and drinks) weekly

Audacy’s Cadence13 partners with Creative 7 to present “What’s in Your Glass” with Carmelo Anthony. The NBA all-star blends his love of wine and conversation by hosting a series of guests on his new show. Over a nice glass of wine, Carmelo chats with guests from the worlds of sports, music, media, and entertainment. Last year, Carmelo started a YouTube channel that follows the same format of this podcast. Video versions of the podcast’s episodes are uploaded to his YouTube channel.

The first episode speaks with filmmaker Shaka King. Shaka’s film, “Judas and the Black Messiah,” was nominated for 5 Oscars. They kick off the convo by sharing what they’re both drinking, since they’re speaking remotely. Carmelo and Shaka discuss their commonalities. They both grew up in Brooklyn, love wine, and enjoy art based on real-life events. Shaka loves basketball. One of his teenage dreams was to join the NBA.

Carmelo played for the NBA Knicks for 5 years and presently plays for the Portland Trail Blazers. His accolades include being one of the top scorers in the league.

Some upcoming guests to look forward to are singer Andra Day, entrepreneur Mark Cuban, basketball player JJ Redick, and musician T-Pain.
