My Cultura Network and iHeartPodcasts present “Connections with Eva Longoria,” a series focusing on authentic connections and being human, hosted by the actress, producer, and humanitarian. Eva is joined by guests, friends, and experts for lively, wide-ranging, and honest conversations on an assortment of topics.

They’ll tackle news, food, parenting, politics, romance, relationships, money, spirituality, and so much more. You’ll hear new perspectives on connecting with the world, ideas, and yourself even in difficult times when it feels like connection has been lost when embracing a new normal.

Since April, the series has released new, weekly episodes under an hour each. This season’s guests include make-up artist Huda Kattan, psychologist and New York Times best-selling author Dr. Shefali Tsabary, changemaker and This Is About Humanity co-founder Elsa Marie Collins, and more.

On the first episode, Eva shared she was reluctant to start a podcast but wanted to share her fascination with connecting and strengthening connections post-quarantine in conversations with others. Throughout the series, Eva is looking forward to discussions on finding your inner spirit.

Purpose coach, former monk, and bestselling author Jay Shetty explored humans’ connection to spirituality in episode 1. Jay shared some of his life experiences, what it was like growing up in an Indian household, society’s expectations, and more.

From an early age, he was intrigued by rags-to-riches stories that highlighted human resilience and perseverance. Jay shared how he met a monk that changed his life and what he learned that shifted his focus toward his inner self, rather than the world around him.

Eva and Jay talked about thinking like a monk, defining spirituality, and explained how it can be used to gain insight and clarity. They unpacked the societal value spirituality holds and what we can do to improve this critical connection. Eva loves Jay’s approach to topics, where he asks even more questions that lead you to find your own answers.
