Dive into the 2022 midterm elections on ‘Campaign HQ with David Plouffe,’ hosted by a former Obama staffer
Former President Barack Obama’s campaign manager, White House Senior Advisor, and the creator behind both of Obama’s winning presidential campaigns, David Plouffe, is back with a latest podcast season focusing on the 2022 Midterm Elections. Starting September 8, “Campaign HQ” will deep dive into key states and what it will take to win the midterm elections. Episodes will feature guests including local political reporters, key operatives, and independent pollsters who know what’s happening because they’re in the field as news unfolds.
Episodes will detail the candidates and races in key states including Arizona, California, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. Centering each episode on 1 state, Plouffe will share insights and analyze the battles for the House, Senate, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and gubernatorial positions. The array of upcoming guests will share perspectives on the races.
“Campaign HQ’s” first episode is all about Pennsylvania and Plouffe is joined by Brendan McPhillips (campaign manager for John Fetterman), Julia Terruso (political reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer), and Berwood Yost (Director of the Center for Opinion Research at Franklin & Marshall).
Season 1 covered the 2020 presidential election and featured guests like political strategists, Ron Klain (the former chief of staff to vice presidents Al Gore and Joe Biden), historian Jon Meacham, former Attorney General Eric Holder, and many more.
