Former long-time Bachelor host Chris Harrison is jumping into the podcast space with “The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever.” On the first episodes, Harrison revealed his personal experiences after leaving his hosting duties in 2021.

On the podcast, Harrison is spilling on everything “from fantasy suites to dumpster fires” he experienced from his time with Bachelor Nation. Harrison will also chat about relationships, dating, marriage, love, loss, and more topics where “his nightmares, his lessons, and all that wisdom are now your gain.”

Harrison exited the Bachelor franchise after he defended contestant Rachael Kirkconnell and was widely criticized. Kirkconnell was in the news after old photos from her college days reappeared, showing her at an “Old South” ball. Harrison explained that he was “sick to my stomach” from the whole ordeal and was “scared to death” over the possible impact this situation would have on his family, including his kids and fiancé, Lauren Zima.

Harrison said, “While the point I was trying to get across I stand by, the way I did it was messy and disappointing and it’s just not me.” He detailed how he shocked himself in this series of events, lost 20 pounds, had trouble sleeping, and eating. Harrison explained that he regrets not candidly addressing the situation sooner.

Zima joins the podcast’s second episode and shared she was first angered at Harrison’s “messy” situation. Harrison explained, “In the end it brought us together more and made me love her more.”

Harrison’s brother wrote an open letter defending him, and on the podcast, shares why he wanted him to remove it from the internet.

Harrison shared he does not currently watch any Bachelor Nation shows, but he glances at the ratings from time to time.
