NBA Hall of Fame legend Shaquille O’Neal chatted with the NELK Boys. Shaq said he admires what Bob has done with his YouTube career and says Bob is one of the only guys he’s jealous of. Shaq said Bob talks about sports in a unique way, different from a corporate network. Shaq became a fan of Bob’s and said he’ll show up anytime for Bob’s projects.
Shaq and the hosts spoke about his many business endeavors and how he’s investing his money. His advice for everyone is to take advantage of all opportunities. This is why he has so many simultaneous projects cooking.
Did you know Shaq has been DJ-ing since 1988? He’s been serving Dubstep drops and EDM beats at his Wynn residency in Las Vegas. Shaq was re-inspired to DJ again after catching Tiësto and Steve Aoki live, performances that gave him an adrenaline boost. Last year, Shaq played Lollapalooza, and his kids are into his music, too. Shaq likens DJ-ing live festivals to playing in NBA’s finals. In this episode, we learn that Shaq does not drink, and explains why his vice is hookah.
