YouTubers and true crime podcast addicts Haley Toumaian and Andrea Shaenanigans share cases and spooky stories with flecks of humor on “Inhuman.” They’re diving into infamous tales, survival stories, missing person accounts, and unsolved cases, hoping to bring awareness and help victims get the justice they deserve.

Since 2021, this series has released over 140 episodes to stream in any order. The average episode runs less than 45 minutes and covers a variety of topics besides true crimes. Recent spooky season episodes examined Robert the Haunted Doll, The Circleville Letters Mystery, and more. Fans of “Morbid,” “And That’s Why We Drink,” and “Killer Queens: A True Crime Podcast” might also enjoy “Inhuman’s” storytelling.

Some episodes are devoted to sharing listeners personal true crime cases or spooky stories which can be submitted via “Inhuman’s” website. Haley and Andrea encourage listeners’ suggestions for any story they’d like to hear on future episodes.

A recent episode unpacked the Liske Family Massacre that happened in 2010 on Halloween. 16-year-old Devon Griffin found the crime scene and thought he stumbled upon a Halloween prank. But it was reality, and several of his family members were killed.

In September, episode 138 investigated Elizabeth Short’s murder, a slain and dismembered 22-year-old actress in Los Angeles, called The Black Dahlia by media in 1947. Even 80 years later, the case remains unsolved. The hosts discussed the podcast “Root of Evil: The True Story of the Hodel Family and the Black Dahlia,” a series created by 2 sisters and Dr. George Hodel’s great grand daughters, Rasha Pecoraro and Yvette Gentile. Hodel’s descendants believe he killed Elizabeth Short.
