‘Bachelorette’ Katie Thurston and fiancé Blake Moynes join ‘Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe’
It’s a Bachelorette free-for-all on this episode of “Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe.” This season’s past Bachelorette Katie Thurston and her new fiancé Blake Moynes sit down with past Bachelorette and interim host of the show, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and her fiancé/past-Bachelorette-contestant Jason Tartick. Whew. That’s a mouthful.
This has been a long awaited double-date, with Katie and Kaitlyn becoming close this season, even having a different double date with one of Katie’s other ill-fated suitors, Connor. That is definitely a topic of discussion this episode. Although they don’t go into the trauma that Katie caused Connor when she said he was a bad kisser on national TV.
Katie and Blake are not known for keeping it PG (so much so that Blake is laying off the wine for the show), so this episode was mainly Kaitlyn and Jason trying to pry as much out of them as they could. The couple were also two of the very few people who knew who Katie ended up with, so they have been chomping at the bit.
First off, the two couples actually have a lot in common besides the franchise: Blake and Kaitlyn are both Canadian, and they fire off some good old maple-leaf themed trivia at Katie. They chat about long distance and international relationships, and there’s lots of good Canadian-accent action.
The four chat about their relationships, communication, and Bachelor foundations. They delve deep into love languages, having arguments, conflict resolution and handling stress, and the “Greg” situation. There’s also animal trivia, a boat, a game of never-have-I-ever, maple syrup, and more boat talk. Katie and Blake are charming, even when thousands of miles away from one another, and Kaitlyn is constantly proving that she is primetime entertainment.
