“The School of Greatness” has been pumping out inspirational wisdom since 2013 and now releases episodes three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Episodes are about 90 minutes long as Howes goes in depth into topics like confronting your fears, healing past trauma, Keto diet myths, and knowing your worth.
Howes has had a wide variety of guests on to talk about their passions, their secrets to health and happiness, and he provides practical advice on finding greatness within us. He’s had on popular podcast host and psychotherapist Esther Perel to give insight on modern relationships. Throughout the interview, the two touch on topics like the obstacles people face in relationships, why happy people cheat, building trust once you’ve lost it, setting expectations, and maintaining sexual desire in a long-term relationship.
Neuroscientist and Professor of Neurobiology and Ophthalmology at Stanford Andrew Huberman talks all about sleep with Howes, discussing how important it is for our all-around health. The two talk about how nutrition and exercise can affect sleep, how sleep can negatively affect you, what prevents sleep and how to fix it, and much more. Howes has chatted about crypto with economist and CEO of Euro Pacific Capital Inc. Peter Schiff, namely how he thinks that Bitcoin won’t usurp the dollar any time soon. Dr. Steven Gundry has joined Howes to talk about nutrition, the best foods to add to your diet, the foods to eliminate from your diet, and the biggest misunderstandings behind the Keto diet.
Back in 2018, “The School of Greatness” hosted an extensive 70-minute episode with the late Kobe Bryant. Widely considered to have been one of the hardest working athletes of his time, the two talked about the Mamba Mentality, Kobe’s daily routine, the power of storytelling, his greatest weakness, and what love means to him. Other interviewees on Howes’ podcast have been snowboarder Shaun White, Harvard Psychologist Amy Cuddy, and Sharks Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, and Daymond John.
Not only is Howes informative and motivational, but deeply genuine and empathetic. His recent episode with Gabby Bernstein on trauma, coping mechanisms, and triggers is a stand-out episode as he dives into a topic that other podcasts may tend to avoid.
