HBO’s Euphoria captivated audiences in its first season, and its devout fanbase returned and attracted even more fans with season two’s premiere this January. Hosts Grace Leeder and Aman Adwin analyze every episode this season on their podcast, “Euphoria: A Post Show Recap.” Created by Sam Levinson, Euphoria follows a group of teenagers navigating the world, their identities, drug use, sex, love, and friendships. The series has been nominated for several awards, and its wins include Zendaya’s Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series.

Stream the podcast in chronological order if you’re up-to-speed with watching the TV show. The podcast’s second episode recapped season one, in case you need a refresher on all the drama that unfolded before starting season two. All episodes run under two hours long, with shorter recaps clocking in under 90 minutes long. So far, the series has released over 6 episodes, with new, weekly updates after each TV episode airs.

The podcast will delve into Euphoria’s shocking character arcs, behavior, and why this story of Gen Z-ers is so compelling – it showcases characters tackling daily life, the looming future, fun, and partying accompanied by heavy substance use. Rue’s narrations, surreal visualettes, and music create a trippy experience for viewers, and the podcast will unpack scenes. The show’s aesthetic and fashion choices have been adapted by fans and followers in real life.

From the start of season one, Zendaya’s character Rue gets right back to using drugs after her stay in rehab, and her father has just passed away. We’ll hear about Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, a transgender girl exploring her identity and her relationship with Rue that left her heartbroken last season.

Other characters include Kat (Barbie Ferreira), an incredibly self-conscious teen exploring her sexuality. Cassie’s (Sydney Sweeney) sexual experiences follow her around. Football player Chris (Algee Smith) is having trouble adjusting to college after high school. Jock Nate (Jacob Elordi) grapples with anger and sexual insecurities.

Brooklyn Zed joined the hosts on the season two premiere recap episode. For season two, episode two, Kirsten MacInnis weighed in. Chantele Francis stopped by season two, episode three’s recap, and Ariel from PSR Theater podcast appeared in the fourth episode’s recap.
