After curating their perfect and highly opinionated Instagram account into a viral success, hosts Chelsea Fairless and Lauren Garroni have found that they have opinions on other things as well. Although, they still love Sex and the City. And thus, the podcast “Every Outfit” was born, complete with pop culture palavers and fashion-obsessed confabulations (we reached deep into our thesaurus for those).

Since February of 2021, “Every Outfit” has been doling out weekly episodes (bi-weekly now) filled with the latest pop culture gossip and reviews of episodes of Sex and the City. And of course, they’ve already dove into And Just Like That. Recommended to us by Podsauce guest Megan Rosati of “Two Sentence Horror Stories: The Official Podcast,” “Every Outfit” has nearly 60 episodes under their belt, and the two best friends show no sign of slowing. Episodes are just an hour a piece.

Described by Fairless and Garroni as The View but less geriatric combined with Fashion Police, “Every Outfit” is a wild ride. The two recap and review episodes of their favorite show with an emphasis on the fashion of the show. Even if you’re just arriving at “Every Outfit” now for their reviews of And Just Like That, you may find yourself sucked into their podcast.

While they have collaborated with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon because of their Instagram, it’s not all SATC. They talk about Yellow Jackets, Euphoria, and Elizabeth Holmes’ trial, they dig into fashion crimes (not ugly outfits but actual crimes #FreeWinona), Taylor Swift, and specifically looked into Carrie’s Caftan. Their unique and insightful takes on pop culture have made them a go-to podcast for hoards of people.

You also may find yourself earning a comprehensive education on fashion history, pop culture, and the media industry. They both have impressive resumes: Fairless is a social media consultant, designer, and former fashion director of VFILES, and Garroni is a writer, director, and former freelance fashion writer. Their episodes reviewing films about fashion or have an emphasis on fashion (looking at you House of Gucci) are particularly beloved and serve to highlight the brilliance of these two ladies. They’ve spoken at the Museum of Metropolitan Art, so they’re pretty much as legit as it gets.

Filled with personal stories accompanied the duo’s dry, sarcastic wit, “Every Outfit” is truly a homerun (but we don’t have to tell you that, just check out their ratings). They touch on pop culture moments in a way that no one else is doing it, providing fashion commentary that delights (and doesn’t require a BFA), and even if this podcast were three hours long, we would still listen to it. Between their humor, well-structured episodes, and fashion/pop-culture knowledge, “Every Outfit” is a true three-for-one.
