Hang out with “The 85 South Show with Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly and Chico Bean,” a comedy and interview show for “people who don’t know what a podcast is.” Presented by The Black Effect and iHeartPodcasts, new episodes feature guests from entertainment, business, and more. They’re known for riffing and uproarious conversations in their studio space called “the trap,” where topics run the gamut from guests’ current projects to freestyling, listening to music, life updates, and news.
The series has been packing a punch with new episodes since 2015. Stream the series in any order, with over 350 episodes to choose from. Episodes run less than 2 hours on average, and there is music featured throughout.
Earlier this month, Kountry Wayne stopped by the show with Clayton English. Their conversation got serious when they addressed poverty. In December, Rick Ross joined the hosts and a poetry piece “You AllReady Fine” was shared later on. The hosts talked to the founder and CEO of Helping Young People Excel (HYPE), Charleston White. This company focuses on educating teens and helps deter them from committing crimes.

The Black-owned art gallery’s creators shared their journey, how the art world works, and the power of HBCU learning. DJ Mars recently shared what the Atlanta party scene is like and that he also earns cash building BMX bikes and selling them to customers like Dave Chappelle.
