Realm presents “Marigold Breach,” a fictional drama starring Jameela Jamil and Manny Jacinto. The story begins when a spacecraft crash lands on a new planet and the passengers have zero memories of the past. An AI implant is keeping character Lucan (Jacinto) alive, and a soldier is dying to answer questions from his past.

Lucan only knows his name, his rank, and that the AI implant in his mind is a sentient female named Ven, voiced by Jamil. Ven becomes Lucan’s only companion and unexpected life force. We soon learn everyone, including Lucan, is in more graver danger than we thought – and time is running out.

Start the series from episode 1, with all episodes under 35 minutes so far. New episodes are released weekly, and Realm subscribers can get early access to episodes.

Lucan and Ven are entrenched in their new reality and taken into custody by strangers on an unknown, warring planet. Lucan recovers from injuries and they face danger that threatens the planet’s safety. But not all immediate dangers lie in the external world. Lucan has a dark secret that Ven is hiding, and if she revealed it, everything would change.

The planet’s factions include “homesteaders” and “scrubjackets.” On episode 3, Ven spills a secret that changes Lucan’s vision for the future. By the 4th episode, Lucan and Ven return to the crash site to uncover information.

“Marigold Breach” reunites The Good Place‘s co-stars Jamil and Jacinto, as the popular Kristen Bell show wrapped in 2020. This podcast was created and written by Joel Dane, produced by Diana M. Pho, Fred Greenhalgh, and Hayley Wagreich, directed by Fred Greenhalgh, and executive produced by Barton and Marci Wiseman, Jamil, and Jacinto.
